Who’s That Girl?

It's Jess!

When I was little, I used to ask my mom to borrow her camera to take photos. She hated letting me because my hand was “too shaky” and all the photos were blurry…well thank the Lord I outgrew that! From the moment I held a camera in my hand, I knew this is what I was born to do! Fast forward through high school and college, I was still very excited about photography and always found myself photographing someone or something.

I soon realized that I absolutely loved to capture love stories, and in 2017 I decided to become a full time wedding photographer. There is something special about watching people fall in love, and getting to capture all the laughs and tears my couples share is what I live for! I can’t wait to support my couples as they tackle wedding planning, when they need a pick me up, and I can’t wait to kill it on the dance floor with them right after they tie the knot!

That real real

It's a Love Story

baby just say yes!

I am married to the love of my life, Cody Jackson (but please no Jesse Jackson jokes, haha). Cody and I met while attending California Baptist University. I would say our first date was Halloween 2015, but he made sure to tell all of his friends that “this is definitely not a date”, so you could say things were going really well….spoiler alert, he changed his mind, and we fell head over heels in love (or something like that)! In 2019 we finally said “I do” and then ran off to “Sandals” to recreate the Michael and Jan photo from “The Office”!

Whether we are still playing video games, or he’s taking me on bachelorette status dates to pet sloths, it’s always an adventure. One thing I love about Cody is that he is always steadfast. When things are hard or life gets rough, I can ALWAYS count on him to be there supporting and building me up.

Why I do what I do

I want you to feel

beautiful

I became a photographer to show people how truly beautiful they really are! It breaks my heart when people and couples tell me that they are “un-photogenic” or “awkward”…they aren’t. They just haven’t had a photographer who can capture them correctly.

I am here to make you realize you are perfect just the way you are and I strive to reflect that in your photos! So if you are ready for the most fun that you’ve ever had at a photo shoot, click below!
